FAQ
Q: What are they made of?
A: they are 3D printed, durable and with a lovely matte finish.
Q: How do they attach?
A: You cut a small hole in the fur, and screw the screw/washer and claw together with a screwdriver.
Q: Can it come undone?
A: The screws are treated with a blue thread locker glue that activates when the screw is tightened, bonding the threads together so it can't be easily unscrewed.
Q: Does it damage the fur?
A: No. Only a tiny, tiny cut hole is necessary to get the screw through. It is then pressed tight between the claw and the washer, protecting the cut edge and preventing any unraveling.
Q: How do I clean them?
A: It is recommended that you hand-wash any paws that use these claws with cool/lukewarm water, rinse well and air dry only. (No heat/dryer) (This is generally good advice for any suit parts as it helps the fur last longer.)
Q: Aren't metal parts in suits dangerous?
A: Metal itself does not mean something is dangerous or harmful. There are metal parts (snaps, buttons, zippers) in clothes we all wear every day. The screws used in these claws are 1. Very small 2. Have no sharp edges. (They are called button head cap screws, designed to be safe to touch. Even the end is flat, not sharp at all) 3. Concealed deep in the claw and fabric when installed. 4. Stainless steel, for those with allergy concerns. This will also keep them from corroding and getting rust on the fur (kitchen sinks and pots and pans are made with stainless steel!) So why are they metal? Because metal is STRONG.
